Buddy onboarding helps new employees adjust to their roles by matching them with seasoned colleagues who can support them through their first 90 days at the Airport. Having a buddy helps new hires get connected with their colleagues and learn the ins and outs of working at SFO in a fun and supportive way. And it gives Advisors a chance to welcome their newest peers in the SFO way!
What is a buddy advisor?
A buddy advisor is someone that is matched with a new hire throughout their first 3 months of employment. They will show them the ropes, offering support and guidance on the day-to-day aspects of working at SFO, and encouragement as new hires get acclimated to their roles at the Airport.
Why have a buddy advisor?
Advisors will provide a warm welcome and reaffirm their Buddy's decision to join SFO. They will be a reliable, motivated single point-of-contact for basic questions about Airport work, logisitcs and culture.
